Kaleidoscopic (2019)

Grand Rapids, Michigan - Project 1 : ArtPrize

Browder produce five large-scale fabric installations for building exteriors and other public sites. Throughout the Spring and Summer of 2019, she invited members of the Grand Rapids community to donate colorful fabric and work alongside her to sew immense striped textile pieces that she wrapped around multiple buildings and structures at various sites for Project 1. She engaged over 1000+ community members as well as a collective the city sewed over 50,000+ square feet of fabric.
