“SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Lt. Governor Cournoyer and the Iowa Economic Development Authority (IEDA) announced the 2025 Governor’s Arts Awards in a presentation at the Iowa State Capitol on April 29.

The Sioux City Art Center received the Arts Service Award for Amanda Browder’s Razzle Dazzle project.

In a news release, the City of Sioux City says the project engaged hundreds of local volunteers and transformed the building’s architecture into a vibrant, community-driven artwork that attracted new visitors in fall 2024.

The biennial awards, administered by IEDA’s Iowa Arts Council, recognize outstanding individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the arts in Iowa.”
