On October 15, 2007, Career Day Team mobilized 45 artists to “sweep” (lovingly care for) the street of Milwaukee Avenue in Chicago, IL. Our intent was to broaden the notion of public art, reintroducing the connection between the community and artist. River water from the Chicago River was collected, carried and replace as a symbol of the path taken on our public art journey.
