Prismatic Illusions was later reinstalled at the Center for the Arts at UBuffalo as part of the exhibition, Splitting Light curated by Rachel Adams Miller. This exhibition is open from Oct-Jan 2016. Please visit to see this piece indoors! The Light-well room in the CFTA was the same height as the Anderson Gallery, where the original piece was installed outdoors. I see this as a public art collage, taking into consideration scale, fabric donations, public/private and how a community based piece can still be a contemporary art piece with strength. This piece was made by the generous donations of fabric and sewing expertise by the local volunteers of Buffalo, NY.
